Animation

The above is a compilation reel of short animations created by OCAD University students enrolled in the course, INTM2B11: Animation: Origins & Techniques (Winter & Summer 10/11).

In the introductory-level course, students were encouraged to explore a combination of both traditional and digital animation techniques including 3D stop-motion, cel, rotoscoping, paper cut-out, puppet, claymation, timelapse, and installation. A series of exercises covering the fundamentals of animation, concept development, storyboarding, animatics, and cinematography led to each student completing a final 1-3 min project.
